Like many of you, I started as a baker—juggling flour, frosting, and fondant at all hours of the day (and night). What began as a love for cake turned into a small business built on creativity, care, and countless cupcakes. But there was one thing that drove me absolutely mad:
The packaging.
Time after time, I’d spend hours perfecting a bake—only to place it into a flimsy, poorly made box that folded in on itself before it reached the customer. Some boxes even gave off strange smells or felt oddly greasy. I started asking questions… and I didn’t like the answers.
Many of the boxes flooding the market were:
- Mass-produced in anonymous factories
- Made from low-grade materials full of questionable chemicals
- Not food safe, not recyclable, and definitely not reliable
That’s when I realised: If I couldn’t trust these boxes with my bakes, why should anyone else?
